William M. "Mike" Glisson

Guyton – William Mitchell “Mike” Glisson, age 73, passed away on Tuesday, September 21, 2021, at his residence in Guyton under the care of Savannah Hospice and surrounded by his loving family.  He was born in Jenkins County, GA to the late Dennis Bower “Slim” Glisson, Sr. and Delmarie Newton Glisson. He worked as a truck driver and was a U.S. Army Veteran. He also was a member of the Sons of Confederate Veterans. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his infant son, Christopher Lee Glisson, his sister, Rose G. Morton and nephew, Cameron Glisson.

Survivors: Son and Daughter-In-Law: William Lance and Erin Glisson of Rhode Island; Sisters and Brother-In-Law: Vicki S. Glisson of Guyton, GA and Elaine G. and Tad Bentley of Sylvania; Brothers and Sister-In-Law: Dennis B. Glisson, Jr. of Statesboro and Randy and Brenda Glisson of Guyton, GA; 10 Nieces and Nephews; 9 Great-Nieces and Nephews.

Graveside Service: Friday, September 24, 2021, at 4:00 PM at Bascom Cemetery with Tad Bentley officiating. 

Thompson-Strickland-Waters Funeral Home in charge of all arrangements.
