WILLIAM WATERS

     William Randolph “Randy” Waters Jr., age 71, of Sylvania, and husband of Luticia “Tisha” Brinson Waters, passed away Friday morning, December 10, 2021, in his home with his family at his side.  

     Randy was born in Savannah, Georgia on July 1, 1950, to William Randolph “Buddy” Waters Sr. and Inez Downs Waters. He spent many years as an engineer at KOYO Industries. Randy was a proud Mason for 45 years and was the Past Master of Sylvania Lodge #301. He was a deacon at Hiltonia Baptist Church and a member of the Alee Shriners Association.

     In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son Jason Randolph Waters and sister Joann W. Dugger.

     Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Tisha Waters; daughters and sons-in-law, Leigh W. & Mike Dotschay, and Lindsey W. & Tyson Bennett; his sister, Donna W. & Charles Lee; 5 grandchildren, Sidnie Dotschay, Brinson Dotschay, Annaston Dotschay, Ty Bennett, and Avari Bennett; mother-in-law, Beverly Brinson and several nieces and nephews.

     Visitation: Sunday, December 12, 2021, from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at the Hiltonia Baptist Church.

     Funeral Service: Sunday, December 12, 2021, at Hiltonia Baptist Church at 2:00 PM. with Rev. Dr. Karen Zeigler and Darell Young officiating. Burial with Masonic Rites will follow at Bascom Cemetery.

     Pallbearers: Redo Brinson, Mike Dotschay, Tyson Bennett, Brinson Dotschay, Waters Jordan, Charles Lee, and Clark Lawson. Honorary Pallbearers: The Masons from Sylvania Lodge #301.
