Ronald Adrian Friese

Sylvania – Ronald Adrian Friese, age 72, passed away on Sunday, April 25, 2021, at his home under the care of his loving family and Regency Southern Care Hospice.  He was born in Screven County, GA to the late George Anton & Lucy Bragg Friese and was a member of Hiltonia Baptist Church. He was the owner/operator of Friese Trucking Company, enjoyed yard work, outdoor activities and working on anything with a motor and wheels. He also enjoyed guns and turkey shoots but most of all, loved being with his family.  Besides his parents, Ronald is preceded in death by his son, Ronald David “Buddy” Friese, his first wife, Sheila Williams Friese and several brothers and sisters.

Survivors:  Wife: Nancy Hall Friese of Sylvania; Daughters and Sons-in-Law: Tricia & Tim Smith and Bridget Kitchens, all of Sylvania, Ronda & Bill Cantrell of Guyton, GA and Brenda Miller of Statesboro, GA; Daughter-In-Law: Kimberly R. Friese of Sylvania; Sisters: Pauline F. Bragg of Hiltonia, GA and Zelma F. Brown of Florence, SC; Brothers and Sister-in-Law: Emory “Buddy” Friese and Homer & Penelope Friese, all of Sylvania; 10 Grandchildren; 12 Great-Grandchildren; Several Nieces and Nephews.

Graveside Services: Wednesday, April 28, 2021, at 1:00 PM at Screven County Memorial Cemetery with Rev. Henry Bazemore and Chaplain Denise Thompson officiating.  Burial following.

Pallbearers: Jim Friese, Wayne Friese, Bobby Friese, Brandon McDonald, Travis Smith and Jarrod Friese.

Thompson-Strickland-Waters Funeral Home in charge of all arrangements.
