Richard Allen Taylor

Sylvania – Richard Allen Taylor, age 71, passed away Wednesday, July 28, 2021, at St. Joseph’s Candler Hospital in Savannah, GA. He was born in Screven County, GA to the late Emory Simon “Pete” & Eloise Mock Taylor. He worked as a mechanic and was known as one of the best around the county, until he retired. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Eugene Taylor and Emory Taylor.

Survivors: Wife: Ellen Norris Taylor of Sylvania; Daughters and Son-In-Law: Charlene Taylor and her fiancé, Eli Woods of Richmond Hill, GA and Margaret & Dustin Stewart of El Paso, TX; Son and Daughter-In-Law: Pete & Donna Taylor of Sylvania; Adopted Daughters: Michelle Norris and her fiancé Dontay Sanders of Brooklet, GA, Brittany Norris and Bonnie Norris, both of Ellabell, GA; Sisters and Brothers-In-Law: Virginia & Jim Meadows and Rita & Bobby Howard, all of Sylvania and Linda & Chip Traub of Savannah, GA; Brothers and Sisters-In-Law: John & Susan Taylor and Lewis & Cassandra Taylor, all of Sylvania and Lloyd Taylor of Savannah, GA; 9 Grandchildren; Several Nieces and Nephews.

A private memorial service will be held at a later time.
