Rocky Ford – Nancy Elizabeth Thompson Powell, age 62, passed away on Thursday, December 17, 2020, at Jenkins County Hospital in Millen, GA. She was born in Wayne County, GA to Nan Harris Thompson and the late James Earl Thompson and was of Methodist faith. She was preceded in death by her father and her brother, John Berry Nichols.
Survivors: Daughter: Olivia Thompson of Jesup, GA; Sons: Derrick Powell of Lanett, AL, Nick Powell of Jesup, GA, William Earl Kerstetter of PA and Michael Thompson; Mother: Nan Harris Thompson of Jesup, GA; Sister: Sissy T. Duncan of Jesup, GA; Brother: Tommy Thompson of Jesup, GA; 6 Grandchildren; Special Friend: Billy Deloach of Rocky Ford; Several Nieces and Nephews.
Visitation: Monday, December 21, 2020 at 9:30 AM until 10:15 AM at Thompson-Strickland-Waters Funeral Home.
Graveside Services: Monday, December 21, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Rocky Ford Cemetery with Rev. Thomas Hendrix officiating. Burial following.
