Springfield, GA – Michael Duane Waters, age 50, passed away on Tuesday, August 24, 2021, at Memorial Medical Center in Savannah, GA. He was born in Bulloch County, Georgia to Billie Jean B. Gordon and the late Wendell V. Waters, Sr. He worked as a carpenter and was of Baptist faith.
Survivors: Daughter and Son-in-Law: Evan W. & Garrett Anderson of Register, GA; Son: Brent Michael Connor of Sylvania; Mother and Stepfather: Billie Jean B. & Melvin Gordon of Springfield, GA; Girlfriend: Lori Morton of Springfield; Step-Children: Emma Thomas and Gavin Sapp, both of Springfield, GA; Sister: Vicki Morton of Sylvania; Brothers: Barry Steven Waters and Wendell V. Waters, Jr., both of Sylvania; Step-Sisters and Brothers-In-Law: Ann & Peter Brennan of Rincon, GA and Michelle & Glynn Sykes of Springfield, GA; Several Nieces and Nephews.
Visitation: Saturday, August 28, 2021, at 9:30 AM until 11:00 AM at Thompson-Strickland-Waters Funeral Home.
Funeral Services: Saturday, August 28, 2021, at 11:00 AM at the Thompson-Strickland-Waters Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Wayne Dawkins officiating.
