Lillian Ellison Hannah Godbee

Hiltonia - Mrs. Lillian Frances Ellison Hannah Godbee, age 93, passed away Sunday, June 20, 2021, at the Syl-View Rehabilitation and Memory Care Center in Sylvania.   She was born September 5, 1927, in Screven County, GA to the late Clarence I. and Emma Mock Ellison.  She was a member of the Hiltonia Baptist Church and was a retired seamstress from White Stag Manufacturing Company. She learned to drive at the age of 40 and she enjoyed cooking, reading and art. She spent a lot of her life taking care of her parents, her brother and a niece and nephew. She was preceded in death by her Parents; Husbands: Robert Lewis Hannah, Sr. (father of their two sons) and Raiford R. Godbee; Brothers: Guy Ellison, Otis Ellison and Hayward R. Ellison; Sisters: Ann L. Ellison Turner and Lyla M. Ellison Wallace; Special Friend and Caregiver: Francina Griswold.

Survivors: Sons and Daughters-In-Law: Robert L. Jr. & Geri Hannah of Savannah, GA and John F. & Martha Hannah of Millen, GA; 5 Grandchildren; 9 Great-Grandchildren; Several Nieces and Nephews.

Graveside Services: Tuesday, June 22, 2021 at 11:00 AM at St. Marks Methodist Cemetery in Sardis, GA (Old Sardis Road) with Rev. Henry Bazemore and Granddaughter, Jill Mobley officiating. Burial following. Visitation will be at the cemetery after the service.

Pallbearers: Greg Hannah, Robbie Hannah, Daniel Hannah, Jerry Reddick, Michael Boyd, Floyd Williams and David Bragg.
