Louis Noel Oglesby III, age 61, of Sylvania, passed away on Thursday evening, April 14, 2022, at his home. Noel enjoyed the outdoors, from working as a landscaper, to farming, fishing, hunting, and loved spending time with his family.

He was born on November 8, 1960, to Louis Noel Oglesby, Jr. and Clara Dell Arrington in Screven County.

In addition to his parents, Noel is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law, Audrey Oglesby & Jerry Tucker and Holly & Nic Swint; sisters, Toni Burke and Terrie Barnes; and his grandchildren, Emily Tucker, Taylor Swint and Jasper Daniels.

A graveside service will take place at McDonald Baptist Church Cemetery on Monday, April 18, 2022, at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Blake Hicks officiating.

Thompson-Strickland-Waters Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
