KATHRYN EUDEAN REDDICK BRINSON

Kathryn “Deanie” Brinson, age 82, of Sylvania, widow of William Jason Brinson, passed away on Tuesday evening, June 14, 2022, at East Georgia Regional Medical Center.

Deanie was born October 27, 1939, in Screven County to Johnny Robert Reddick and Ruby Wilma Bazemore Reddick. She was a member of the McBride United Methodist Church. Deanie retired in 2000 from Koyo Bearings manufacturing company after 21 years of service.

In addition to her parents and husband, Deanie was preceded in death by her brother and sister-in-law, Robert “PeeWee” Reddick and Christie Reddick, and brother-in-law Johnnie Kelly.

She is survived by her son, William “Billy” Jay Brinson; sister, Ophelia Reddick Kelly; and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held Thursday afternoon, June 16, 2022, at 3:00 P.M. in the McBride United Methodist Church Cemetery, officiated by Rev. Travis Smith and Rev. Kevin Rountree.

Thompson-Strickland-Waters Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
