James Robert Williams, Sr.

Sardis, GA – James Robert “Bubba” Williams, Sr., age 78, passed away Monday, March 15, 2021, at University Hospital in Augusta, GA. He was born in Screven County, Georgia to the late Barney L. & Pearl Rowe Williams. He was owner and operator of a heavy equipment business. He also liked classic cars and Indian artifacts but loved spending time with his family. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his Wife, Jacquita “Jackie” B. Williams and a brother, Sidney L. Williams.

Survivors: Daughter and Son-In-Law: Kamala W. & Jay Neurath of Rincon, GA; Son and Daughter-In-Law: James R., Jr. & Gloria Williams of Sardis, GA; Brothers and Sisters-In-Law: Billy & Ann Williams and Bobby & Carol Williams, all of Sylvania and Ronnie & Sue Williams of Bryson City, NC; Grandchildren: Tyson & Jackson Corbin of Rincon, GA and Deyton Grey Williams of Sardis, GA; Step-Granddaughter: Tiffany Ellifritz of Sardis, GA; Several Step-Children and Grandchildren; Several Nieces and Nephews.

Graveside Services: Friday, March 19, 2021, at 11:00 AM at Sardis Baptist Cemetery with Rev. Ernest Johnson officiating. Burial following. Family will receive friends at the cemetery from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at the cemetery.
