Judy Gail Lewis Persons, age 76, of Sylvania, passed away on Monday evening, November 13, 2023, at her residence in Sylvania.

Gail was born in Sylvania, GA, on August 22, 1947, to the late couple George Dewitt and Evelyn Bassett Lewis. As a CNA, she enjoyed helping others. Gail loved flowers and photography, especially taking pictures of her grandchildren & great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Gail was preceded in death by her brother, Gerald Lewis.

Those who will cherish her memory include her daughter, Terry Purvis; son, Louis Mincey; sister, Sheri Lewis McIlrath; brothers, James Lewis, Butch Lewis and Ricky Lewis; 3 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
