Faye Cobb Cowart

Sylvania – Alice Faye Cobb Cowart, age 77, passed away on Monday, November 1, 2021, at her residence.  She was born in Pensacola, FL to the late Jesse Cobb and Grace Jackson Cobb Nelson. She worked as a cook in the school lunchroom and was a member of Hurst Baptist Church. She loved working with children in Sunday School and various kids programs through the years. She was a special wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, and great-grandmother and loved spending time with her family. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Helen Godwin and her brother, Frank Cobb.

Survivors:  Husband: Horace Nathaniel Cowart of Sylvania; Daughter and Son-In-Law: Sharon & Thomas Rollins, Sr. of Sylvania; Son and Daughter-In-Law: Steven N., Sr. & Penny Cowart of Sylvania; Sister: Pat Frazee of NC; Brother: Ricky Cobb of FL; 7 Grandchildren; 13 Great-Grandchildren; Several Nieces and Nephews.

Visitation: Saturday, November 6, 2021, at 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at Hurst Baptist Church.

Graveside Service: Saturday, November 6, 2021, at 11:00 AM at Hurst Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Greg Davis officiating. Burial following.

Pallbearers: Steven Cowart, Jr., Dustin Cowart, Joshua Cowart, Kyle Rollins, Tommy Rollins, Jr., Robert Frame, Michael Edwards and Mason Edwards.
