SYLVANIA, GEORGIA

Donald Wayne Waters, age 65, of Sylvania, passed away on Friday morning, March 10, 2023, at Memorial University Medical Center – Savannah.

Donald was born in Coral Gables, FL, to the late couple, Pearlie Franklin “Tinkum” Waters and Mattie Lee Jenkins Waters on March 28, 1957. He enjoyed flea markets and yard sales and was a great handyman. Donald was a member of Union Baptist Church

Those who will cherish his memory, include his sister, Mary Godbee; brothers and sisters-in-law, Franklin & Sue Waters, Johnny & Maudine Waters, Charles & Foy Ann Waters, James Waters, Billy Waters; and several nieces and nephews. He will also be missed by his very special friend, Carolyn Johnson.

The family will receive friends Monday, March 13, 2023, at Thompson-Strickland-Waters Funeral Home from 5 P.M. to 7:00 P.M.

Rev. Al Usher will officiate the funeral service held at Union Baptist Church on Tuesday, March 14, 2023, at 11:00 A.M. with interment to follow at Union Baptist Church Cemetery.
