DiAnne Farmer Lee, age 70, of Sylvania, passed away on Tuesday evening, April 11, 2023, at East Georgia Regional Medical Center in Statesboro.

She was born in Savannah, Georgia to Tommie Talmadge Farmer and Ida Juanita Morgan Farmer. DiAnne worked as a lunch lady at Screven County Elementary School. DiAnne was known to everyone as “Granny”.

Those who will cherish her memories include her husband, John Paul Lee; daughters, Amanda Gentry (Frankie) of Millen, Paula Lee (Allen Wilkes) of Pembroke, Beth Reddick (Chris) of Sylvania; son, John Paul Lee II (Marianne) of Sylvania; sister, Mary Ann (Wayne Smoak); grandchildren, Brandi Zelt (Jamie Parrish), Sasha Windham (Marty), Matthew Hutcheson (Jammi Graham), Johnathan Austin, Walker Austin (Alexis), John Paul Lee III, Melanie Dianne Lee; 6 great-grandchildren; sisters and brothers-in-law, Mary Lee, Cindy Lee, Cathy Lee, Elaine Blocker, Brenda Dickerson (Harold); and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M., on Friday, April 14, 2023, at Jackson Baptist Church. The funeral service will commence at 11:00 A.M. with Reverend Ralph Dixon officiating. Interment will follow at Jackson Baptist Church Cemetery.
