C. Franklin Lariscy

Hiltonia – Clifford Franklin Lariscy, 80, passed away in his sleep August 21, 2020.

He was born in Bascom, Georgia on Feb 15, 1940 to Clifford Watson and Sally Mae, who preceded him in death. He was also preceded by his daughter Angie and son Terry.

Franklin is survived by his wife Ida Lynn T. Lariscy, his sons, Lee (Holly) Lariscy, Jeffrey (Kelli) Lariscy and Rodney (Kathy) Lariscy as well as his brother DeRon (Galina) Lariscy and sisters, Glenda (John) Marrs, Cheryl Goodwin, Gail (Rich) D'Angiolillo and Debbie (Dave) Fornshell, grand-children Aaron (Ashley) Lariscy, Jacob Lariscy, Michaela (Geoff) Kennedy , David Lariscy, Lukas Lariscy, Caitlyn Lariscy, Ashley Lariscy, Hailey Lariscy, Emily Lariscy and Keith Howard, and great grand-children Anna Lariscy, Madison Kennedy and Anniston Lariscy.

Mr. Lariscy, with the help of friends and family, built a house and made a home with his wife and sons in Hiltonia where he also built a business with his brother DeRon as a mechanical fabricator. The brothers also operated a farm for a number of years with the help of their children.

He passed peacefully after a long illness while still professing how blessed he was.

Visitation: Sunday, August 23, 2020 at 3:00 PM until 4:00 PM at Hiltonia United Methodist Church.

Funeral Service: Sunday, August 23, 2020 at 4:00 PM at Hiltonia United Methodist Church with the Rev. Jay Williams and Rev. Judson Barnes officiating.  Burial following at Bascom Cemetery.

Pallbearers: Aaron Lariscy, Jacob Lariscy, David Lariscy, Lukas Lariscy, Geoff Kennedy and Keith Howard. Honorary Pallbearers: Nephews and all friends and family who have been nurtured by Franklin through the years.
