Sylvania – Bertie Theron Ward, Jr, age 75, of Sylvania, passed away on Friday afternoon, November 25, 2022, at Optim Medical Center-Screven.

Bertie was born in Dexter, Georgia, on March 3, 1947. After serving in the U.S. Army, he became an exterminator. Bertie is survived by his daughter, Tammy Ward; sons, Richard “Ricky” Ward and Michael Ward, Sr.; 5 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
