Alonza "Lonnie" Wilson, Jr.

Millen, GA – Alonza “Lonnie” Wilson, Jr., age 68, passed away on Wednesday, January 27, 2021, at his residence in Millen, GA. He was born in Jenkins County to the late Alonza Wilson, Sr. and Frances Lovett Wilson Hickman. He worked for the Jenkins County Road Department and was a member of the Christian Church. He was an avid coon hunter and enjoyed raising different kinds of animals.

Survivors: Wife: Kay Buxton Wilson of Millen, GA; Daughter and Son-In-Law: Heather & Tony Flint of Millen, GA; Son: Alonza Wilson, III of Millen, GA; Sisters: Angela Wilson of PA, Luree Blackburn, Gail Wilson and Carol Clarke, all of Sylvania; Brother and Sister-In-Law: Dean & Esther Wilson of Sylvania; Grandchildren: Alexis Marin and Austin Wilson; Several Nieces and Nephews.

Graveside Services: Saturday, January 30, 2021 at 3:00 PM at Big Horse Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Josh Johnson officiating. Burial following. Visitation will be held after the services at the cemetery.
