Terri Mincey Purvis

SYLVANIA
Terri Mincey Purvis, age 58, of Sylvania, Ga, passed away peacefully on April 28, 2026.
She is preceded in death by her beloved late husband, Donald Purvis, and her parents, Judy Gail Persons and Paul Alford Mincey.
Terri leaves behind a loving family: her stepmother, Kathy Mincey; her brothers, Louis Mincey and Steven Lewis: her sister, Tammie Lewis. She was a proud mother to John Paul Sousa (Heather), Keisha Sousa, and Samantha Owens (Chris). She also leaves behind two stepchildren. She held a special place in her heart for all her nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren she leaves behind.
A special thank you to Aunt Karen Hodges for her love and care of our mother.
A private service will be held at a later date to honor Terri’s life.
