Susan Williams

Susan Waters Williams, 64, passed away on September 21, 2026, at Piedmont Healthcare in Macon, Georgia. She was born on April 28, 1962, in Alaska.

Susan enjoyed crafting, crocheting, artwork, watching movies, attending festivals, and spending time with her family and friends. She especially enjoyed attending deaf club gatherings and Georgia School for the Deaf events with her friends. She loved spending time with her family and was known for spoiling the family pets.

Susan attended classes at Gallaudet University. She was a night owl who enjoyed staying up late and spending time with the people she loved. Susan was known for her kind heart, sense of humor, and determination. She was always willing to offer advice to her friends when they needed her.

She is survived by her parents, Horace Waters and Sophie Waters; daughter, Krystle “Krissy” Waters-Kitchens; granddaughter, Amber Waters; and brother, David Waters. She is also survived by many friends and extended family members who will miss her dearly.

Susan will be remembered for her kindness, humor, creativity, and the love she shared with her family and friends.

A visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 27, 2026, at Thompson Strickland Waters, Joiner Anderson Chapel. A service will immediately follow at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of the funeral home. Interment will follow at Jackson Baptist Church Cemetery.
