Sharon Louise Blank

Ms. Sharon Louise Blank, 56, of Sylvania, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, October 7, 2025.

Sharon was born on May 8, 1969, in Honolulu, Hawaii, to William Carl Blank and Rose Marie Grace Blank. She was an avid artist and writer. Sharon loved working at the Screven County Library, where she was the assistant director for the Screven-Jenkins Regional Library System.She worked for the Screven-Jenkins Regional Library System since 2005. She was also a member of the Sylvania Junior Woman's Club, as well as the Screven County Library's Girls Reading In The South Book Club, and a very active member in the Screven County community. Sharon was a lover of all animals, especially cats. She will be remembered as a loved daughter, sister, aunt, and friend.

She is preceded in death by her father, William C. Blank, and a nephew, Paul A. Esquibel, Jr.

She is survived by her mother, Rose Blank, sisters, Nancy (Randy) Thurston, all of Pensacola, Florida, Cindy Esquibel, of Devine, Texas, brother, William A. Blank, of Devine, Texas, nieces, Melissa Bilobran, of Loveland, Colorado, Amanda Nardo, of Redding, California, Michelle Walbridge, of Castroville, Texas, and a nephew, Steven Esquibel, of Fort Worth, Texas.

The family asks that memorial donations be made to the Screven County Library, 106 S. Community Drive, Sylvania, GA 30467.
