Ronnie Lang

Mr. Ronnie Lang, 66, of Sylvania, GA, passed away at Memorial Health University in Savannah, GA on July 25, 2025 surrounded by his loving family.

He was born on September 5, 1958 in Savannah, GA, to the late Chancey and Eva Lang. Ronnie worked as a press operator at Koyo for many years.

Ronnie always wanted to make sure that everyone knew he was “THE” Ronnie Lang, and could not be mistaken for anyone else. He loved making people smile. He joked and laughed and lifted spirits everywhere he went. Every Christmas, Ronnie dressed up as “THE” Cool Santa and rode his motorcycle around town just to see people smile. He loved his motorcycle, his animals, and his family. He would do anything to help anyone. If one person is helped by his final act to donate his body, he would be happy.

He is preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Alfred and Betty Lang, Wade Buford and Jerry Lang, Robert Lang, and Leroy Lang.

Ronnie is survived by his fiancé and soulmate, Susan Schreiner; siblings, Marie Griner, Inez and Donnie Oliver, and a twin brother, Donald L. Lang (NH-03) 48 year Career Civil Servant with DOD, USAF, USSF, NASA and NATO/ NAA, and his “Little Susan”, Katlyn and husband Ryan Colson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews including Mike and Pam Lang, Bobby and Wanda Griner, Eddie and Sharon Griner, Juletta Weaver, and Priscilla Howard. Ronnie also left behind many special friends including Eddie and Donna McDonough, Derrell Fries, Allen Hill, Junior and Michelle Ellrod, Michelle Patterson, and Jackie Clifton.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 9, 2025 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at the Thompson Strickland Waters Funeral Home, Joiner Anderson Chapel.
