Robert Ford Ellison, III

Robert Ford Ellison, III, age 55, passed away on June 14, 2026, in Statesboro, Georgia.

Born on September 16, 1970, Robert was raised in Sardis, Georgia, and spent the majority of his life in Sylvania, Georgia.

A hardworking businessman, Robert owned and operated a seamless gutter business and took great pride in serving his community. When he wasn't working, he enjoyed spending time outdoors, especially at the river and being on the water. He had a passion for collecting coins and could often be found browsing thrift stores and antique shops in search of unique collectibles and hidden treasures to add to his collection.

Above all else, Robert's greatest joy in life was his family. He treasured every moment spent with his children and especially his grandchildren, who brought endless happiness and pride to his life.

He is survived by his children, Mallory Ellison (Shane Burke), Tanner Ellison (Brooke), Emmalea Ellison, Payge Ellison, and Vince Powell; his beloved grandchildren, Hayden, Kaydence, and Hadleigh; his siblings, Rolene Oliver, Matt Parker, and Tammy Brown; his nephews, Parker Oliver, Brent Parker, and Derrick Parker; his niece, Taylor Oliver; and numerous extended family members and friends.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Ellison, Jr. and Jenny Simmons Ellison; and his brothers, Bobby Sanders and Mike Sanders.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
