Cora Pauline Bragg, age 96, of Sylvania, passed away on Saturday evening, September 2, 2023, at Pine View Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, in Sylvania.

Pauline was born in Sylvania, Ga, on August 28, 1927, to the late couple, George Friese and Lucy Bragg Friese. Pauline was a skilled seamstress and a member of the Hiltonia Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, Pauline was preceded in death by her first husband, William Adrian Northcutt and second husband, Sam Bragg; brothers, George Thomas “Billy” Friese, Henry O. “Hank” Friese, David Friese and Ronald Adrian Friese.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Bunie & Edmund Deyo, Jr.; sister, Zelma F. Brown; brothers and sisters-in-law, Homer & Penny Friese, Emory Gene “Buddy” Friese, Nancy S. Friese, Nancy H. Friese and Margaret Friese; 2 grandchildren, Edmund “Eddie” B. Deyo III and Scott B. Deyo; 5 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held on Friday, September 8, 2023, at Thompson-Strickland-Waters Funeral Home from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.

Rev. Darell Young and Rev. Travis Smith will officiate the funeral service on Saturday, September 9, 2023, at 2:00 P.M. at Thompson-Strickland-Waters Funeral Home Chapel, with interment to follow at Bascom Cemetery.
