Patricia Waters Corbett

Mrs. Patricia Waters Corbett, 82, of Sylvania, Georgia, passed away at Piedmont Augusta Hospital on Monday, September 8, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.

Patricia was born on October 5, 1942 to the late Fredrick Lockwood Waters and Ellen Zeigler Waters in Screven County. She spent her life as a homemaker after graduating from high school.

Patricia is preceded in death by her parents, and a sister, Marguerite W. Bragg.

She is survived by her loving husband, Jerry Corbett; a brother, Matthew “Freddie” Waters; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Mike Corbett, Rick Yaun, Juan Hill, Caleb Yaun, Freddie Waters, and Chris Lewis.

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 12, 2025 at 1:00 PM at Thompson Strickland Waters, Joiner Anderson Chapel.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to McDonald Baptist Church, C/O Kay Strickland, 311 Avondale Drive Sylvania, GA 30467.

Funeral Service will follow in the chapel of Thompson Strickland Waters, Joiner Anderson Chapel at 2:00 PM with Rev. Fred McCoy.

Interment will follow at Screven County Memorial Cemetery.

Thompson Strickland Waters, Joiner Anderson Chapel is in charge of all arrangements.
