Palmer Alton Bazemore, III

It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of a truly one-of-a-kind young man, Palmer Alton Bazemore III, well known as Pablo. His life may have been cut far too short, but the life he lived was full of adventure, laughter, love, and stories that will be told for generations.

Pablo loved life, and he lived it wide open. He had a kind and giving soul, and he loved his family and friends deeply. Of all the roles he held in life, being a father to his daughter, Cassie, was one of the most important and treasured. She was his heart, his pride, and one of the greatest loves of his life. If you knew Pablo, you knew he was never going to live an ordinary life. He had a little bit of Smokey and the Bandit running through his veins. He was known for living life on the edge, leaving the cops trying to keep up with him and creating the kind of stories that could only belong to him. Those wild days became legendary memories that his family and friends will smile about, shake their heads at, and tell again and again.

But as the years passed, Pablo grew, changed, and finally reached a place in life where he could slow down, appreciate what truly mattered, and enjoy life. He had so much more living to do, so many more memories to make, and so much more love to give. Tragically, that time was taken from him far too soon. He leaves behind a legacy that cannot be measured in years. He will be remembered for his big heart, his adventurous spirit, his loyalty, his laughter, and the way he made people feel loved. He was a kind soul who touched more lives than he probably ever realized. His story may have ended sooner than anyone could have imagined, but his legend will live on through his daughter, his family, his friends, and every person blessed enough to have known him. He lived life like a legend, loved like there was no tomorrow, and left behind memories that will last forever.

Rest easy, Pablo. Your race is over, but your story will never be forgotten. You were loved beyond words and will be missed beyond measure.

Pablo leaves behind his parents, Palmer and Susan Bazemore Jr; his daughter, Cassie; his siblings, Amy Henry(Chad), Ronnie Bazemore(Holly and Ivey), Joseph Bazemore; and his brother, Gary Watson. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Palmer and Cassie Bazemore Sr and John and Evelyn Mills; and his mother Mary Hobby Mills.

A visitation will be held from 4:00pm ~ 6:00pm on Saturday, August 15 at Thompson Strickland Waters, Joiner Anderson Chapel.

The funeral service will be held at 3:00pm on Sunday, August 16 at Buck Creek Church, with Pastor Carroll Gay and Pastor Steve Purnell officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery
