Margaret Hall Norris

Margaret Norris, of Sylvania, GA, passed away on Sunday, July 19, 2026, at the age of 84. Born on January 1, 1942, in Dunn, NC, Margaret graced the world with her warmth and unwavering spirit.

Throughout her life, Margaret nourished the spirits of those around her with her remarkable dedication and work ethic. She touched the lives of many during her 15 years as a cashier at Dairy Queen, following a 20-year career at Claxton Poultry. Her friendly demeanor and kind soul left a lasting impression on her colleagues and customers alike.

Margaret found immense joy in spending quality time with her family. She was especially fond of spoiling her grandchildren, who will forever remember her as a gentle and loving presence.

She was preceded in death by her devoted spouse, John Robert Norris Sr.; her son, Kenny Norris; her loving parents, Harvey Hall and Malatha Lee Hall; and her siblings, Coy Hall, Roy Hall, Lloyd Hall, Selia Horton, Alice Tyndall, and Pearl Tart.

Survivors include her children, Ellen Taylor, Linda Wiggins, John Norris, and Scotty Norris; her 16 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Marie Beasley, and numerous nieces and nephews who held a special place in her heart.
