Linda Kile Brewer

Mrs. Linda Kile Brewer, 73, of Sylvania, GA, passed away at St. Joseph’s Candler Hospital in Savannah, GA on Wednesday, June 11, 2025.

Linda was born on May 9, 1952, to the late John Wallace Kile and Verna Lee Parker Kile. She worked as a police officer until her retirement.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Boney Brewer; brothers: John T. Kile, Tom Kile, Gary Kile, and Pat Kile. She is survived by her 

daughters, Donna Lynette (Al) Peel, of Perkins, GA, and Rebecca Ann Hooks, of Sylvania, GA. Sisters: Judith K. (Dave) Dewey, of Evans,

GA, Donna Jean Thuillier (Paul), of Sylvania, GA and Mickey Lynn Hidri, of Bluffton, SC; brothers, Mike (Helen) Kile, of Sylvania, GA, and Kenny 

Kile, of Statesboro; sister-in-law, Gloria Kile, of Oliver, GA; as well as 5 grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be nephews: Terry Kile, Jimmy Kile, Auston Peel, Dillan Hooks and Dave Dewey.

Michael Kile and John Kile will be honorary pallbearers.

The family will receive visitors on Tuesday, June 17, 2025 from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at Thompson-Strickland-Waters Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held after visitation at 11:00 AM in the chapel of Thompson- Strickland-Waters Funeral Home.

Internment will follow in the Screven County Memorial Cemetery.
