Larry Wyman Gordon

Larry Wyman Gordon, age 85, passed away Wednesday, August 13, 2025 surrounded by his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond Solomon Gordon Sr. and Marjorie Campbell Gordon. Son, Lionel Cain Gordon, Brother, Raymond Solomon Gordon Jr. and Sister-in-law Eloise Wingate Gordon, Brother-in-law, M. Dixon McGregor.

Larry is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Linda Cain Gordon and his children, Lorri Gordon Thompson and husband Johnny and Larry Wyman Gordon Jr. Grandfather to Jacob Gordon Thompson and wife Madison, Jared Lanier Thompson and wife Summer, Laramy Thompson Guest and husband Preston, Rhett Earnhardt Thompson and wife Caitlyn, Elle Reese Gordon, Ava Grayce Gordon, and Isla Wren Gordon. Great Grandfather to Hamilton Cain Thompson, Morgan Brian Thompson, and Jamerson Edward Blanton Thompson "JEB".

Visitation will be held at the First Baptist Church Sylvania in the Family Life Center on Sunday, August 17, 2025 from 2 - 3 PM with services in the sanctuary at 3:00 pm.

Interment at the Bethel Brick Church, 1259 Oglethorpe Trail, Sylvania, GA. to follow.
