CHRISTOPHER LANCE WILLIAMS
Lance Williams, 38, of Sylvania, passed away on Friday afternoon, June 3, 2022, at Memorial University Medical Center in Savannah, Georgia.
Lance was born in Savannah, Ga to Anita M. Elliott and Chris F. Williams on March 5, 1984, and raised in Guyton, Ga. Many things came naturally to him, he was very creative and athletic. He could draw anything that came into his mind and was perfecting his tattooing skills. Sports came second nature, he played football, baseball, and field hockey. Lance never walked away from a challenge. His motto was, “Better to ask for forgiveness than permission.” That was always a challenge for his family. Lance’s biggest joy was his children, Alysah, Collin, and Brandon, he loved them, and he was a great daddy. Lance was the person who could light up a room. He was funny, kind, humble, loud, helpful, and never let a friend down.
Lance leaves behind his mother, Anita M. Elliott; his children, Alysah, Collin, and Brandon; family and friends to cherish his memories. His hugs will be missed, Lance gave the greatest hugs; he would wrap his arms around you and hold on for a few more seconds so that you knew, he loved you to his core.
A Graveside Service will be held Saturday, June 11, 2022, at 10:00 AM at the Broken Spoke Ranch Cemetery, located at 4541 Buttermilk Road, Sylvania.
The family would like to say thank you to the medical staff at Memorial Health, Effingham County Hospital and the fire rescue team of Guyton who did so much.
The ultimate gifts were given at his passing, as an organ donor, he will live on in others.
