Joanne P. Beard

Mrs. Joanne P. Beard, age 86 of Sylvania, went to be with the Lord on July 4, 2025, at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles W. Beard. She is survived by her three daughters, Cynthia B. Wells and husband Jeff, Shane Beard, and Beth B. Thompson and husband Brian, all of Sylvania. Grandmother of Ashlee W. Creech (Gene), Haleigh T. Krulic (Caleb), Ansley N. Thompson, and Conner L. Thompson. Great-grandmother to Kinslee Forehand. A special thank you to Janice Bragg for the love and care of our mother. Joanne retired from the Timken Company after 30 plus years of service. She was a member of Buck Creek Church. She loved shopping, flowers, and always being the biggest cheerleader to her girls and grandchildren.

Visitation will be at Thompson Strickland Waters, Joiner Anderson Chapel - Sunday, July 6, 2025, from 6-8 pm.

Funeral Services will be held at the Buck Creek Church on Monday, July 7, 2025, at 2:00 pm with a burial at Screven County Memorial Cemetery.

Pallbearers: David Oliver, Larry Whitehead, Jeremiah Stuart, Conner Thompson, Caleb Krulic, and Mark Beard.

Thompson Strickland Waters, Joiner Anderson Chapel, is overseeing all arrangements.
