Jimmy Joyner, Jr.

Sylvania – Jimmy Joyner, Jr., age 59, passed away on Wednesday, April 28, 2021, at Optim Medical Center-Screven in Sylvania.  He was born in Sylvania, GA to Jimmie Joyner, Sr. of Sylvania and the late Betty Sue Williams Joyner. He worked as a painter and carpenter.  Besides his mother, he was preceded in death by his wife, Cindy Ann Brower Joyner and a daughter, Joanie Joyner.

Survivors: Daughters and Son-in-Law: Alicia & Corey Hines and Susie Joyner, all of Sylvania; Sons and Daughter-In-Law: Titus & Serena Joyner of Augusta, GA and Stephen Joyner of Sylvania; Father: Jimmie Joyner, Sr. of Sylvania; Sisters and Brothers-In-Law: Patricia & Brooks Lord of Statesboro, GA and Lynn & Karl Dietsch of Avera, GA; Brother: Roger Joyner of Sylvania; 5 Grandchildren; Several Nieces and Nephews.

Visitation: Friday, April 30, 2021 at 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Thompson-Strickland-Waters Funeral Home.

Graveside Services: Saturday, May 1, 2021, at 11:00 AM at Screven County Memorial Cemetery with Rev. Al Usher officiating.  Burial following.

Thompson-Strickland-Waters Funeral Home in charge of all arrangements.
