Jesse Perritt

     Jesse P. Perritt, age 80, passed away on Thursday, January 2, 2025, at Optim Medical Center in Sylvania, GA. He was born on November 8, 1944, to the late Henry Floyd Perritt and Amanda Lee Taylor Perritt in Morehead City, North Carolina. He would later call Sylvania, GA, his home.

 Jesse was a carpenter and roofer by trade, working for several different companies for many years. He was a man of faith and a member of Sylvania First Methodist Church. He was also a veteran of the Coast Guard and Army National Guard of the 38th division, and a member of the American Legion.

 In addition to his parents, Jesse is preceded in death by his wife, Addie Lou Morse Perritt; sisters, Sarah Louise and Mildred Arlene, as well as his brother, Billy Floyd Perritt.

 Those who will cherish his memory include his daughters, Joann, Cynthia, and Catherine; stepdaughter, Roseann; stepsons, Richard Neal Jr. and Timothy Neal; brother-in-law, Steven Morse; nephew, Lewis Raymond Perritt; 6 grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

 A graveside inurnment will take place at Screven Memorial Cemetery on Friday, January 10, 2025, at 11 AM with Rev. Dorsia Atkinson officiating.
