Ima Rose Reddick

Ima Rose Reddick, a lifelong resident of Sylvania, Georgia, passed away on October 12, 2026, in Sylvania. She was born on September 7, 1937, and spent her life in the community she called home.

Ima Rose was a faithful member of Bay Branch Baptist Church, where she enjoyed singing in the church choir. A devoted homemaker, she found joy in caring for her home and spending time with her beloved cats. She also enjoyed shopping and making the most of life's simple pleasures. Ima Rose had a unique and memorable story that brought a little extra joy to her life: due to a typographical error on her birth certificate, she had two birthdays and happily celebrated them both.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Frances “Micky” Mobley; her second husband, Corree Brinson; her third husband, Olson Dean Reddick; and her sister, Glenda Cowart.

Those left to cherish her memory include her sister, Nancy West; nieces, Tammy Strange and Teresa Oglesby (David); nephew, Mathew “Matt” Wallace (Kristy); and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 17, 2026, at Bay Branch Baptist Church. The family invites friends to join them for visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
