Herman Lee “H. L.” Kemp, age 74, of Sylvania, passed away on Sunday morning, November 27, 2022, at PruittHealth – Bethany, in Millen.

H. L. was born in Sylvania, Georgia, on May 11, 1948. He was a son of the late couple Waymon David Kemp and Aren Ottis Williams Kemp. H. L. was a truck driver.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Myrtle Kemp.

H. L. is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Mitchell & Nikki Kemp; caregiver and life partner, Judy M. Burke; brothers and sister-in-law, Arnie Kemp, Lewis & Barbara Kemp and Ottis Kemp; and 2 grandchildren, Abagail and Breanna Kemp.

The family will have a private service at a later date.
