Faye H Harvey

Faye Hill Harvey, 85, went to sleep on the evening of September 11, 2025 and woke up in heaven with her Savior in the early morning of September 12, 2025. She was born to Susie Ward and Austin Matthew Hill Sr. on March 23, 1940.

She was preceded in death by her infant twin sister Kaye Hill, her parents, husband Richard J. Harvey, sister Margie Hill Plunkett, brother and sister-in-law, Austin Matthew "Junior" and Jackie Mays Hill, sister-in-law, Cecelia Harvey and Bobby Smith Sr., sister-in-law Georgia Harvey and Loran Jordan, and nephews Bobby Smith Jr. and Marty Plunkett.

Survived by daughters, Martha Harvey of Thomaston, GA., Georgia Kaye and Danny Daughtry of Millen, GA., Julie and Jay Page of Preston, GA., Sonya and Scott Krug of Sylvania, GA. Grandmother to Jonathan and Heather Butts; Jennifer and David Taylor; Daniel Daughtry; Susan and Jonathan Kring; Jessica Page; Nathan and Katrina Krug and Caleb Krug.

Great Grandmother to nine and numerous nieces and nephews.

Faye came to faith in Christ as a teenager and lived out the Gospel in many ways throughout her life. She prayed daily for family, friends, neighbors, Co-workers, church family and many others. She was a faithful member of Hurst Baptist Church for many years and served as church pianist for over 50 years.

She loved her family dearly. She was always eager to hear what was going on with each person and rejoiced in accomplishments, praying for our needs.

While we will miss her greatly, we rejoice that she has passed from "life to life" and will ever be with her Savior. Her great desire is that all who knew her would also have a personal relationship with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Her first job was working at Boddiford's Feed and Seed in Sylvania. She also worked in Statesboro for a short time for Doctors Daniel and Swint. When King Fishing Company near Cooperville opened she began working as the personnel secretary and worked there until its closing. She will be forever loved and remembered by all who knew her.

Visitation will be held at the Thompson Strickland Waters, Joiner Anderson Chapel, Sunday September 14, 2025, from 4-6 pm.

Family will receive guests prior to the service on Monday, September 15, 2025, from 10:00 - 11:00 am at Hurst Baptist Church with a funeral service following at 11:00 am.

Burial will be immediately following in the Hurst Baptist Church Cemetery.

Officiated will be Pastor Greg Davis and Scott Crug.

Pallbearers will be, Jonathan Butts, David Taylor, Nathan Krug, Daniel Daughtry and Randy and Ricky Hill.
