Donald Marlon Lariscy

Donald “Marlon” Lariscy, age 69, passed away on Wednesday, February 5, 2025, at East Georgia Regional Medical Center in Statesboro, Georgia after a brief illness. He was born on November 27, 1955, to the late John Earl Lariscy Sr and Doris Brown Lariscy in Millen, Georgia. 

Marlon was a tow truck driver by trade, having worked for Mickey Lovett Co. for over 25 years. He was a member of Hurst Baptist Church and served as treasurer for more than 10 years. In his free time, Marlon loved to watch NASCAR, football, and wrestling.

Those who will cherish Marlon’s memory include his sisters, Earlene Owens of Hiltonia, and Darlene Lariscy of Sylvania; brother, Chuck (Debbie) Lariscy of Garden City; caregiver, Jason Doyle of Sylvania, as well as several nieces and nephews. 

A graveside service will take place at Hurst Baptist Church Cemetery on Sunday, February 9, 2025, at 2 PM with Rev. Greg Davis officiating.
