Dealphia Morgan Parker

Sylvania – DeAlphia Morgan Parker, age 93, passed away on Wednesday, August 7, 2019, at Ogeechee Area Hospice in Statesboro, GA. She was born in Screven County the late Alfred Llewellyn & Alma Overstreet Morgan. She was retired from the City of Sylvania where she worked as bookkeeper for 19 years and was a member of Sylvania First United Methodist Church. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her Husband: Gilbert Wheeler Parker; Sisters: Catherine Morgan Padgett and Llewellyn Morgan; Brother: Alfred L. Morgan.

Survivors: Daughter and Son-In-Law: Deanne P. & John A. Fitzner, Jr. of Sylvania; Son and Daughter-In-Law: Douglas L. & Lizzie Parker of Statesboro, GA;  Grandchildren: Stephen Fitzner of Hawkinsville, GA, Andy & McCall Fitzner of Statesboro, Lecie Fitzner of Sylvania, Lauren Parker of Huntsville, AL, Cole Parker of Greenville, SC, Tripp & Jennifer Fitzner of Swainsboro, GA, Sydney W. Weaver of Sylvania and Whitley Wilkerson of Statesboro, GA; 9 Great-Grandchildren; Several Nieces and Nephews.

Visitation: Thursday, August 8, 2019 at 1:30 PM until 2:00 PM at Screven County Memorial Cemetery before the services.

Graveside Services: Thursday, August 8, 2019 at 2:00 PM at Screven County Memorial Cemetery with Rev. Ricky Varnell officiating. Burial will follow.

Honorary Pallbearers: Grandsons & Granddaughters.
