Charles Heywood Broward, Sr.

Sylvania – Charles Heywood Broward, Sr., age 86, passed away on Friday, June 11, 2021, at his residence. He was born in Jacksonville, FL to the late Harold & Mae Ribbon Broward.  He was a U.S. Army veteran and worked in construction doing sheetrock work.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Martha Ann Pierce Broward, a son, Steven Neal Broward, sisters, Florence Whitaker and Glory Ann Broward, and a brother, Harold Broward, Jr.

Survivors: Sons: Mark Craig Broward of Sylvania and Charles ‘Chuck” H. Broward, Jr. of Oshkosh, WI; Brothers: Gearl Broward and Henry Broward, both of Jacksonville, FL, Dearl Broward of Lakeland, FL and Donnie Broward of Folkston, GA; Grandchildren: Charles Christopher Broward of Sylvania and Amanda Gail Broward Youngblood of Neenah, WI; 3 Great-Grandchildren, Several Nieces and Nephews.

Graveside Memorial Service: Wednesday, June 16, 2021, at 2:00 PM with Rev. Garry Broward officiating. Burial following.
