Brandy Pettit Smith

Brandy Nicole Pettit Smith, age of 36, Statesboro Ga, passed away on March 18th, 2026.

She was born in Savannah, GA to parents Anthony and Teresa Pettit. She was a 2008 Graduate of Bible Baptist Christian Academy in Statesboro, GA.

Brandy was a bright light to all who knew her. She had a fun-loving, lively spirit, and a naturally silly personality. Her laugh was contagious. You couldn't help but smile and laugh with her. She never met a stranger. Her warmth and ability to make others feel happy and at ease will be deeply missed.

Though her time here was too short, Brandy's personality will continue to shine through her three beautiful children. Her love, laughter, and light will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

She is survived by her parents, her husband John Smith Jr., her loving children Landon Carr, Parker Thompson, and Everett Thompson, and her sister Aimee Perkins. She also leaves behind many other family members and friends, all of whom will hold her memory dear.

Visitation  will be held at Thompson-Strickland-Thompson Funeral home, Joiner-Anderson Chapel in Sylvania, GA. On Saturday, March 28, 2026 from 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM.

Pastor W. Max Alderman will be officiating.

Interment will follow at city of Sylvania cemetery.
