Billy Ray Deloach

Mr. Billy Ray Deloach, 78, of Rocky Ford, Georgia, passed away at his residence on Sunday, October 19, 2025.

Billy was born on July 20, 1947, in Statesboro, Georgia, to Eulis R. Deloach and Elma Hendrix Deloach. He served in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. After his service he worked as a land surveyor. He enjoyed camping, fishing, and bird watching.

Billy is preceded in death by his first wife, Linda Faye Deloach, his parents, and siblings, Gloria Jane Nesmith and John L. Deloach.

He is survived by his children, Deanna (Wayne) James, of Bellavista, Arkansas and Dana Bishop (Michael Fattaleh), of Statesville, North Carolina, a grandchild, Alexander James, brother, Jerry (Margaret) Deloach and a best friend, Ralph Mock.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 23, 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Rocky Ford City Cemetery with Pastor Thomas Hendrix officiating. Military Honors will also be rendered.

Thompson Strickland Waters, Joiner Anderson Chapel is in charge of all arrangements.
