Betty Sue Parker

Betty Sue Parker, age 94 years old passed away Wednesday, September 10, 2025, surrounded by family.

Betty is preceded in death by her parents, Henry Edward "Doc" Turner and Emma Lou Turner. Siblings, Mary Cail Vaughan (Gene), and James Robert Turner (Gloria). Granddaughter, Amanda Jade Postell, Nephews, Kenny Floyd and Daniel J. Renfroe, Niece, Carolyn Cail Floyd, Son-in-law, Derrell A. Postell and Sister-in-law, Myrtle Parker Renfroe (Riley).

She is survived by her daughters, Donna Parker Postell (Darrel) and Sandy Parker Lanier (Charlie). Grandmother to Becky Black, Evan Chance (CJ), Brooke Chance (Josh). Great Grandmother to, Andrew Black, Brady Black, Parker Fox, Abby Rice (Steven), Carsyn Anderson (Matt) and Brett Black, Parker Chance, Hunter Chance, Mason Chance, Rylee Chance, Charlee Jane Chance and Adalee Chance.

Visitation will be Saturday, Saturday from 10:30 - 12:00 pm. Services to follow in the sanctuary at 12:00 pm. First Baptist Church Sylvania.

Interment will be at Screven County Memorial Cemetery following the service.

The family would like to offer a special thanks to Mrs. Betty's devoted caregivers and friends, Mary Robinson, Barbara Hagans, Mary Helen (Magic) Watson, Annie Hopkins, Terri Mobley, Patti Martinez, Florine Morris, Wanda Simons and Mary Williams.
