Betty Williams Mcbride

Sylvania – Betty Edith Williams McBride, age 86, passed away on Friday, December 4, 2020, at Syl-View in Sylvania. She was born in Screven County to the late Thomas Allen, Sr. & Jamie Penelope DuBose Williams. She was retired from Ben Sheftall Distributing Co. in Savannah and was a member of South Newington Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Malcolm Wade McBride.

Survivors: Son and Daughter-In-Law: William Michael & Karen McBride of Union Mill, NC; Brothers and Sisters-in-Law: Charles & Judy Williams of Brunswick, GA and Thomas Allen “Billy”, Jr. & Margie Williams of Sylvania; Grandchildren: Cristal M. Yates and Sean McBride; Great-Grandchildren: Taylor McBride and Ashlyn McBride; Several Nieces and Nephews.

Visitation: Sunday, December 6, 2020 at 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Thompson-Strickland-Waters Funeral Home.

Graveside Services: Monday, December 7, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Screven County Memorial Cemetery with Rev. Jay Akins officiating. Burial following.

Thompson-Strickland-Waters Funeral Home in charge of all arrangements.
