Becky Smoak Milton

Newington – Rebecca “Becky” Loraine Smoak Milton, age 68, passed away on Friday, December 11, 2020, at her residence in Newington. She was born in Screven County to the late Louie & Mattie Lee Smith Smoak. She worked as the property manager for Henley Properties and was a member of Newington United Methodist Church.  She was preceded in death by her Parents; Sister: Pam Ellison; Brother: Louie “June Bug” Smoak, Jr.; Brother-In-Law: Earl McIlrath.

Survivors: Daughter: Rebecca Burton of Newington; Son: Dusty Burton and his fiance, Andie Cook of Varnville, SC; Sister: Gail S. McIlrath of Newington; Brothers and Sisters-in-Law: Gaines & Debbie Smoak and Wayne & Mary Ann Smoak, all of Sylvania and Grady Smoak of Savannah, GA; Step-Children:  Kristian Tyler Milton and Randilynn Roberts, both of Newington;  Grandchildren: Dallas Burton, Paizlee Burton and Luke Edenfield; Former Husband: Billy Milton of Newington; Step-Grandchildren:  Gabe Fennell and Analeigh Fennell, both of Varnville, SC; Several Nieces and Nephews.

Visitation: Sunday, December 13, 2020 at 3:00 PM until 4:00 PM at Thompson-Strickland-Waters Funeral Home.

Graveside Services: Monday, December 14, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Little Ogeechee Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Dr. Karen R. Zeigler officiating. Burial following.

Thompson-Strickland-Waters Funeral Home in charge of all arrangements.
