William " Bill" Lee Watkins

Sylvania – William “Bill” Lee Watkins, age 81, passed away on Monday, May 6, 2019, at his residence in Sylvania. He was born in Bulloch County to the late Jason Cleon & Nellie Lee Adams Watkins. He was retired from the City of Savannah after 39 years of service in the Data Processing Dept. and was a member of Believers Church of Sylvania. He also served for 10 years in the Georgia Air National Guard. He was a member of Full Gospel Businessmen’s Fellowship International and Woodman of the World. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his Sister: Ida Louise Watkins Davis; Brothers: John Cleon Watkins, Sr., Jack Nelson Watkins and Howard Lester Watkins.

Survivors: Wife: Madeline McClellan Watkins of Sylvania, GA; Daughters and Sons-In-Law: Deborah Darlene Watkins Owen (Dennis Long) of Estill, SC, Donna Marie Watkins Norfleet (Stephen) of Prattville, AL and Dorothy Ann Watkins Gavin (Tony) of Statesboro, GA; Grandchildren: Kacey Danielle Owen, Krystyna Michelle Owen, Bill Owen, Gerald “Anthony” Gavin, Jr., Shelby LeAnn Gavin, Cassidy Lyn Gavin, Chris Owen, Morgan Parrish, Jaymie Long, Victoria Norfleet, Lauren Norfleet and Tiffany Norfleet; 10 Great-Grandchildren; Several Nieces and Nephews.

Visitation: Saturday, May 11, 2019, at 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at Believers Church of Sylvania.

Funeral Services: Saturday, May 11, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Believers Church of Sylvania with Rev. Clint Williams, Rev. Paul Hodge and Chaplain Doug Weisel officiating. Burial following at Bethel Brick Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers: Anthony Gavin, Bill Owen, Chris Owen, Justin Parrish, A.J. Bird and Phillip Lord.
