Louis John "Jack" Campo

Sylvania – Louis John “Jack” Campo, age 88, passed away on Thursday, August 8, 2019, at Azalea Health & Rehabilitation Center in Metter, GA. He was born in Queens, New York the late Louis Peter & Catherine Ginnochio Campo. He worked in quality control in the manufacturing industry and was a devout Catholic. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Air Force where he was a Military Policeman and was also had been a member of the Knights of Columbus since 1987. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his Sons: Robert Campo and Mark Campo; Daughter: Elizabeth C. Boddiford; Sisters: Geraldine Purick, Doris Mackochik, Gloria Phipps and Jewel Sandy; Mother of his Children: Dorothy Brasher Waters.

Survivors: Daughters and Sons-In-Law: Susan & David Crews, Mary & Lewis Sheley and Debbie & Rusty Forehand, all of Sylvania; Son and Daughter-In-Law: Rick & Christy Campo of Portland, OR; Step-Children: Teresa & Roger Bateman of Fairview, TX, Rodney & Patricia Ray, Gregory Ray and Scott Ray, all of Phoenix, AZ;  19 Grandchildren; 26 Great-Grandchildren; 1 Great-Great-Grandchild; Several Nieces and Nephews.

Visitation: Monday, August 12, 2019 at 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at Thompson-Strickland-Waters Funeral Home.

Funeral Services: Monday, August 12, 2019 at 2:00 PM at the Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church with Father Louis Lussier officiating. Burial will follow at Green Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers: John Whatley, Richard Whatley, Michael Sheley, Matthew Sheley, Josh Sheley, Franklin Waters, Jr., Lance Campo, Tyler Campo, Chris Campo, Gabe Campo, Blake Campo; Honorary Pallbearers: Alysia Whatley and Georgia Burnett.
